Yibin water resources
Yibin city produces 614500 cubic meters of water per square kilometer per year. In addition to the amount of water from various rivers in the city, the city has a total annual water volume of 242.84 billion cubic meters, and the average annual water occupation is 46800 cubic meters. However, the total amount of groundwater in the city is only 967 million cubic meters, and the annual average is only 31000 cubic meters to 158000 cubic meters per square kilometer. In 2000, some units in Yibin City did not use groundwater reasonably. The city's water energy is mainly in the Sanjiang River Basin. The theoretical water energy reserves of Jinsha River, Minjiang River and Yangtze River are 1.572 million KW, 917 million KW and 2.144 million KW respectively. The remaining 102 small and medium-sized rivers with a rainfall accumulation area of more than 10 square kilometers have a water energy reserve of 629 thousand kilowatts.
