It is a kind of embroidery similar to knitting. It includes poking yarn, dotting, flannelette, net embroidery, brocade, cross peach blossom, pile embroidery, etc. These stitches are suitable for embroidering patterns, so they can also be called "pattern embroidery".
It is a kind of needlework in which stitches and threads are wound and buckled into embroidery. Seed beating, lock pulling, button embroidery, braided strands and chicken feather needles all belong to this category. Beating seeds: it is one of the traditional needling techniques of Suzhou embroidery. It can be used to embroider stamens, or independently embroider patterns and paintings.
