Zepujin Lake Yang National Forest Park is located 40 kilometers southwest of Zepu County in the Gobi Depth, located in the upper edge of the Yerqiang River alluvial fan, surrounded by water on three sides, with pleasant scenery. Driving about 40 kilometers to the southwest from Zepu County, there is a natural poplar forest with tens of miles in length and ten thousand mu lush and full of vitality. Desert, Gobi, Snow Mountain, Bishui and Populus euphratica constitute the unique beautiful pictures of the northwest frontier fortress. On the southwestern edge of Huyang Forest Park, there is a Xinjiang poplar which is still flourishing for 200 years. Located in the east of the park about 200 meters, the tree height is 10.05 meters, DBH is 3.6. It has been identified that the poplar is male and has a history of more than a thousand years. Located 1.5 kilometers south-west of the park, Asdun Tree has a history of 200 years. It is about 30 meters high and 9.2 meters long at the bottom of the trunk. According to the local old man, the tree grew from a stump blocked at the mouth of the river. Someone once used the trunk of the tree to boil water and drink. As a result, it died of terminal illness. Therefore, it has been cared for by the local people for generations and is respected as a "holy tree".
Elaeagnus angustifolia corridor
In 1970, a group of Shanghai Zhiqing planted about 2 kilometers of Elaeagnus angustifolia shelter forest here.
